Folegandros, as a part of the Cycladic Islands, is packed with clustered villages, whitewashed buildings, clear waters, and cliff drops perfect for adventurers. The best part is, as famous a nation as Greek is, it isn’t visited by many tourists worldwide like those of Santorini and Mykonos. If you’ll pass by its villages, you will automatically set your eyes on the terraces and walls that have been standing since many centuries ago. This is definitely a must see in Greece and should be on top of your bucket list on destinations to visit.

One of the main attractions on the island is Chora, being an exact replica of what a Cycladic community would look like. It gives a romantic atmosphere that has three squares and trees that serve as a comfortable shade for people who would love to just hang out. Its village is divided into two sections, one with a medieval aura, and the other of a modern feel. The former has a magnificent landmark that is constructed in a form of a Venetian castle perched on two hundred meters above the ground.
